ALL THE FOOD AT THE BUFFET WAS EXCELLENT
2 THINGS. THE FIRST ONE - WHEN I ARRIVED, I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHO TO BLAME, SINCE THE HOTEL CLAIMED THAT THE FAULT WAS THE PAGE WHERE I MADE THE RESERVATION. IT TURNS OUT THAT THEY GAVE ME A ROOM WITH 2 BEDS, WHICH ALSO LOOKED DEPRESSING BECAUSE ALL THE FURNITURE LOOKED VERY OLD. I CHOSE A ROOM WITH A KING SIZE BED, FLAT SCREEN, ETC. THEY TOLD ME THAT THIS WAS WHAT THE WEBSITE REQUESTED FROM THE HOTEL, THAT IT WASN'T THEIR FAULT. I TOLD THEM TO CHANGE MY ROOM OR GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK BECAUSE I DID NOT WANT TO STAY IN THAT ROOM BECAUSE IT WAS NOT WHAT I CHOSE. THEY CHANGED ME TO THE ONLY ONE THEY COULD GIVE ME WITHOUT INCREASING THE PRICE, IT WAS A DOUBLE BED, A BIT NICER BUT WITH AN ANALOGOUS TV THAT SOMETIMES DIDN'T WORK. THE SECOND ONE - MY PARTNER AND I TRAVELED TO TAKE A FEW DAYS OF REST WHICH WE COULD NOT DO AT NIGHT BECAUSE OF THE NOISE OF THE MUSIC IN THE BAR, IT SEEMED THAT OUR BED WAS NEXT TO THE MUSIC GROUP, UNTIL VERY LATE IN THE MORNING THE MUSIC RESOUNDED IN OUR EARS MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP, WE COULD LISTEN TO THE TALKS, THE HEALTH AND EVEN THE CLINKING OF GLASSES. THOSE TWO NIGHTS WITHOUT SLEEP WERE TERRIBLE. I DON'T KNOW IF THAT HAPPENS ONLY IN THAT ROOM OR IT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE SAME IN ANOTHER, BUT I DON'T THINK I'LL FIND OUT. I DON'T THINK I WOULD EVER STAY THERE AGAIN BECAUSE OF THE LATTER SITUATION.

It has an excellent location, everything was relatively close and there is a lot to tour around. hotel is nice, staff is very friendly and food is good.
They couldn't give us the room we originally booked (with a balcony, bathtub and a king-size bed, since we were going on our honeymoon). we checked in they sent us to the room and that's where I was disappointed when I saw that the room was very small, it didn't have a balcony or a bathtub, king bed. I immediately made the claim, since I paid for a "superior" room (that's what the reservation says) and it seemed unfair that without telling us anything, they gave us a room that wasn't worth what I paid for. At the beginning the girl who attended us only limited herself to tell us that there were no rooms available with the characteristics that I mentioned that I had reserved; basically she told me "that's why it's not advisable to make reservations through internet pages, because they don't add those notes" with which she gave me very little hope that they could change me to a room like the one I reserved. about some refund or bonus, subject was not touched at all. We decided to go out to dinner and during the dinner I came to the conclusion that I was going to ask for a bonus to the price, as it was not the room I had booked and paid for. However, we returned to the hotel and asked, we were told that a room with a balcony and bathtub was ready, only that instead of a king size bed, it would be two queen size beds. Although we slept more together than expected, we slept well and enjoyed our stay. Everything in general was good, that detail with the room ended up being a "sin minute".

Excellent location near the city center attractions.
The air conditioning in my room was noisy and ineffective. I discovered a significant leak under the sink, which I had to deal with . The bathroom amenities could use a complete overhaul, as they looked quite worn and uninviting.

The location is ideal for those looking to
Explore Guadalajara. Everything is within walking distance, and the staff were proactive and friendly. I had a pleasant experience overall, but the AC in the room struggled to keep up during the warm afternoons.

Family with children beware
The location is something else! Lots of eateries right down the street, and the Mercado San Juan De Dios is like a treasure hunt for treats. I mean, who doesn't love cheap souvenirs and street food, right? But honestly, the maid service was great, they really cared about keeping things clean.
It wasn't exactly cheap,, but for what we got, I guess it's acceptable.

Everything was simply good. Absolutely fantastic hotel in a good location away from downtown near Plaza del Sol, loved this place. The room was new-fashioned, the bed was exceptionally comfortable and there was a clean bathroom. Location: the property was right by the historical center as well as the historic centre of Guadalajara. I dined close to the hotel at Verde y Medio.

The Standard Room with Two Double Beds was spacious, but the mattress was way too hard for my liking. I barely got any sleep because of that. On the plus side, the sheets were soft and the pillows were good, which helped a bit. I noticed a musty smell in the hallway too, which wasn't great. The view from the windows was blocked, so it felt a bit claustrophobic. Still, the staff was super nice!
